Abstract : | Cosmology in the last few decades has become an extremely powerful field of physical information and scientific inquiry. The success of the standard model of cosmology has been consistent with multi generation experiments and it has now moved to the realm of precision physics, especially with the LCDM model and its parameter estimation inferred, in particular, from Planck data. A particular aspect important to precision cosmology from the CMB is the effect of weak lensing of the CMB anisotropies. Weak lensing performs both as a contamination that obscures underlying cosmological information and as a physical window carrying information itself. In this context we look at a inflationary Primordial Power Spectrum reconstruction methodology established in the past decades, which is model independent and based on Richardson-Lucy deconvolution. We show that weak lensing observables of the CMB can be used as both a source of reconstruction as well as a contamination effect that can be removed to attain precision enhancement when performing such a model independent reconstruction. We also propose precision and statistical certainty improving analysis tools to the methodology, in order to augment it for incoming future high precision data from experiments such as CMB-S4. |
