The 5th Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education organized by the IAU Office of Astronomy for Education is just around the corner, and we would be delighted to have you join us for this event.
This year’s Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education focuses on two themes. The first theme is the special topic, which is practical astronomy education outside the classroom. This topic includes astronomy teaching in diverse environments such as science centers, planetaria and youth clubs.
The second topic is related to planetary atmospheres, both in the solar system and exoplanets, as well as our own Earth. The workshop will take place virtually from 29 November to 1 December 2023 (UTC).
Registration for the 5th Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education is free and will remain open until 29 November 2023 at 07:00 (UTC). Applicants will receive a confirmation email if the form has been submitted successfully.
