1. About the award
A set of five awards has been instituted for the poster presentations during the Annual Meeting of Astronomical Society of India. Each award consists of Rs. 5,000/- as cash prize and a certificate, and this will be presented to the authors of the poster judged to be the best in respective disciplines.
2. Selection Process
The posters displayed during ASI meetings will be judged by a panel of judges constituted by the ASI in consultation with the scientific organising committee ensuring technical and gender representation. The panel of judges will communicate the result of its deliberations to the ASI council during the meeting.
3.Announcement of the Award
The best poster awards will be announced on the last day of the ASI meeting where the winners will receive the awards.
