1 JRF position is available in Chandrayaan-II project. Nature of work is mainly satellite data/image (hyperspectral image) processing and calibration, and then analysis of the surface composition/mineralogy and also trying to model the physico-chemical and geologic conditions.
QUALIFICATION: MSc Geology/Geophysics/Physics/Chemistry with NET/GATE/JEST
DESIRABLE: Python programming; Knowledge in Spectroscopy/Physical-chemistry/Mineralogy/Geochemistry
FELLOWSHIP: ₹31,000/- pm plus HRA (as per rules)
Mode of selection: Online/Offline
The post is offered initially for 6 months but extension after the review (ISRO project upto 2025). Pursuing PhD through the project is possible after getting qualified at NISER PhD interview against the advertisement/regulations.
