IISER Tirupati, jointly with IUCAA, is organising a 5-day workshop on Data Analysis and Machine Learning in our campus during May 24-28, 2019.
The workshop is at an introductory level, meant to train young researchers and students in the recent techniques of data analysis including statistical analysis, nonlinear time series analysis, recurrence plots and networks, Bayesian approaches, machine learning algorithms and deep learning methods.
In addition to introductory lectures there will hand on sessions every day and participants will be trained in the use of data sets form various research areas like astrophysical data, cosmology data, experimental data, financial data, biological data, physiological data, climate data etc
