The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (NCRA-TIFR) invites applications for the Radio Astronomy School 2019 to be held from August 19 to 30, 2019, at NCRA-TIFR, Pune.
The objective of the school is to provide the upcoming generation of astronomers exposure to the techniques and excitement of radio astronomy, especially in the context of the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) which has recently undergone a major upgrade. The RAS-2019 will consist of lectures on radio interferometry theory and techniques and hands-on tutorials demonstrating the analysis of GMRT data.
