Proficiency in pedagogical or popular science writing in English as well as at least one Indian language. 3. Knowledge of Linux Operating System, Python, LaTeX, and HTML. 4. Knowledge of design packages such as Canva and/or Indesign. 5. Experience in creating educational videos, including scripting, shooting, and editing. 6. Proficiency in using AI tools in creative ways. 7. Proficiency in social media content creation and engagement tracking. 8. Post-qualification work experience of 6 months in teaching / science outreach. Job Description: HBCSE is the national nodal centre for the Olympiad programmes in multiple subjects including Physics and Astrophysics. The selected candidate will work in coordination with the Physics and Astrophysics Olympiad Cells to create educational materials related to the Olympiad programme. These materials may include educational videos / interviews, animations / visualisations, pedagogic articles, printed booklets, posters, social media reels, and other similar materials aimed at high school students as well as teachers. Further, the candidate is expected to facilitate translation of these materials into multiple Indian languages.
