| Job Title: Ph.D. Positions in Cosmology (2 Positions) Job Category(s) : PhD Job Description : The Cosmology Research Group at Guangdong Technion–Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT), led by Assoc. Prof. Prabhakar Tiwari, invites applications for two fully funded Ph.D. positions in cosmology. Students will conduct their research with Prof. Tiwari at GTIIT in Guangdong, China, while being enrolled at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, where they will complete the required coursework. The Ph.D. degree will be awarded by the Technion. The research will focus on the analysis and theoretical interpretation of large-scale structure data from galaxy surveys, with particular emphasis on radio galaxy catalogs. Students will work at the interface of data analysis, cosmological modeling, and theory-driven inference. Key projects include close collaboration with the LOFAR Cosmology Group and research based on upcoming releases of the LOFAR Two-metre Sky Survey (LoTSS), as well as participation in cosmology programs connected to the Square Kilometre Array (SKA). Candidates should have a strong background in physics and mathematics and an interest in connecting observations to fundamental questions in cosmology.
