The MeerKAT Absorption Line Survey data now accessible via a new mirror at DZA, Germany

The MeerKAT Absorption Line Survey (MALS) is excited to announce that its public data releases, including calibrated visibility data, are now also mirrored at the Deutsches Zentrum für Astrophysik (DZA) in Germany. This follows an earlier mirror established with the Open Science Data Federation (OSDF) in the USA, and further expands global researchers' access to MALS's data, now searchable directly at DZA.

MALS data are processed and hosted at IUCAA in India, with the resulting images, spectra, and underlying visibility data made public to foster broader scientific research. The DZA mirror ensures continuous, long-term access to these outputs for the global scientific community. As with OSDF, this partnership is part of the community's preparation to meet the data challenges posed by next-generation radio telescopes like the Square Kilometre Array (SKA).
