IAU SYMPOSIUM: IAUS409 - Innovative Research and Techniques in Astronomy Communication

This symposium will unite experts in astronomy and science communication to share evidence-based ways to improve astronomers' ability to discuss their work with peers, policymakers, funders, and the public, and to identify gaps in science communication research for future investigation.
We will feature five keynote talks and five keynote workshops throughout the conference. Experts in the field will lead these sessions, including Mark SubbaRao (data visualisation), Vanessa Moss (emerging technologies), Genevieve Marshall (communicating with funders), and Marta Entradas (trust in science and scientists).
