Greetings. We are pleased to announce a Workshop on Astronomy-Themed Experiments to be held at the Teaching Learning Centre of the Astronomy Centre for Educators (ACE) at IUCAA from the 8th to the 12th of August 2023. The Workshop is intended for faculty members interested in exploring, creating, and sharing experiments based on concepts in astronomy for instruction at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Experiments would include equipment-based ones in the laboratory, astronomy data analysis and computer simulations. Our goal is to produce an open-source repository of astronomy-themed experiments covering diverse topics for use by the community. Time will be set apart during the Workshop to also write up the experiments which have been presented/discussed.
