We are thrilled to announce the Young Astronomers' Meet 2024 (YAM24), scheduled from March 6 - 9, 2024, hosted by The Department of Physics & Electronics, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, and supported by the Astronomical Society of India (ASI).
YAM is an exciting annual gathering for PhD students in astronomy and astrophysics, providing an excellent platform to showcase research and build collaborations. We extend a warm invitation for your participation in YAM24, presenting your work and engaging with the latest developments in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Abstract submissions open on December 18, 2023. We encourage early submissions.

Eligibility Criteria:
All PhD students pursuing research in Astronomy, Astrophysics, and related domains in India can register for YAM24.
Only scholars in or above the second year of the PhD program and those who would not have defended their thesis until December 2023 are eligible to apply.

Accommodation and Travel Support:
Shared accommodation will be provided for outstation participants at the CHRIST main campus in Bengaluru. Participants also have the option to arrange their own accommodation near the venue.
Travel support covering the Third AC train fare for the shortest route will be provided upon presentation of valid journey tickets for all University participants.
