ARIES is organising a workshop, ExCoDOT-2025, titled: Exploring the Cosmos with 3.6-meter DOT: From Observations to Science Results. The workshop will be held during 27-31st October 2025.

ExCoDOT-2025
A workshop organised by ARIES to introduce the Indian astronomy community to the full potential of India’s largest optical telescope — the 3.6m Devasthal Optical Telescope (DOT). The workshop will cover the complete observational workflow—from preparing and submitting observing proposals, to conducting observations, reducing and analysing data, and identifying opportunities for impactful scientific research.
Who can apply:
Astronomers currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program, serving as postdoctoral researchers, or working as early-career faculty members or instructors.
