Dear colleagues,
We are organising a discussion meeting titled The Future of GW Astronomy at the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences, Bengaluru, from October 27 to 31. Since the first detection of gravitational waves (GWs) in 2015, GW astronomy has entered a transformative era, marked by groundbreaking observations and rapid technological advancements. This meeting will bring together leading experts and early career researchers across theory, experiment and data science to explore emerging challenges and opportunities in GW physics and astronomy. This will also be a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the first detection of GWs. The meeting will feature a small number of review talks that will summarise the status and the challenges of different subtopics, followed by panel discussions and interaction sessions to facilitate collaborations.
The meeting is meant for working scientists (including PhD students) in GW science and related areas. We will discuss ways in which GW observations can be used to address questions in fundamental physics, astrophysics and cosmology, thus helping to strengthen the connections between different scientific communities.

Eligibility: The meeting is meant for working scientists (including PhD students) in GW science and related areas.
Support: Selected outstation participants will be given on-campus accommodation. However, no travel support is available.
