We are excited to announce the SKA-India Science Meeting 2026, titled "India and the SKA: Preparing for a Transformative Era in Astrophysics". The meeting will be held from 15-18 January 2026 at IISER Mohali.

As the Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO) enters its full construction phase, this meeting will provide a key platform for the Indian astronomy community to prepare for upcoming Science Verification data in 2027 and to plan participation in SKA Key Science Projects.

Highlights:

  • Plenary reviews, contributed talks, poster sessions, and discussions.
  • There is no registration fee, and all meals during the meeting will be provided by the organisers.
  • On-campus accommodation will be available at IISER Mohali (costs borne by participants). Limited financial assistance may be available.
