Join us in Perth, Australia, 1-5 February 2027 for a hands-on Rubin Data Preview 2 workshop bringing together a community of students, early-career researchers, and PIs across Asia-Pacific and beyond!
Working in small international teams, participants will use Rubin DP2 data and world-public alerts to tackle research questions, develop collaborative publications, and build open-source software.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to apply! Some support for student & early career researchers travel is available.
Potential topics include:
- Galactic science
- Time domain/transients
- Solar system
- Synergies with other observatories (e.g., ASKAP, Roman, JWST)
- Software development
- Extragalactic/Cosmology
